Another advanage to the 'Waste Master' drain system

Discovered, quite by accident, that with this great drain system you can REALLY flush the black tank, and I mean that if your gray tank is full, you can really, really flush the black tank.

I finished dumping the black tank at the dump station in Elkmont Campground (Smoky Mtn National Park) and for some reason I closed the nozzel valve instead of the black tank valve-spacing out I guess. When I opened the gray tank valve the hose filled up and I realized what I had done, but while bending over to open the nozzel I heard the rushing of water from the gray to the black tank, and I do mean it was rushing into the black tank. So I waited a few moments closed the gray tank valve , opened the nozzel valve and man o man did all that warm soapy water clean out the black tank.

After closing the black tank valve there was still enough water in the gray tank to flush out the hose.

I cannot say enough about this drain system, get one you won't be sorry.

I don't get it, you still have to get down there and hook up the hose. I just open the basement door and pull the handles. I must be missing something.

murffdog, I leave the hose attached and everything gets stuffed into the compartment in the coach. All I have to do is open the cover, pull the nozzel out and put it in the receptacle and open the valves-it really is slick and the nozzel having a valve in it is slicker. I did end up buying some buna n sheet and made a slip on cover for the small section of drain hose which was exposed to all the road crud kicked up by the tires, I could see a puncture happening in very short order.

If someone has a coach where no compartment storage is available-the system would not work, the nozzel of course AND the cam loc termination would not fit into any storage tube but if anyone is able to mount it like we did, or even if you have to hook the sytem up every time but have protected storage- this is the finest way to dump bar none, lightyears better than Sani Con.
