Thanks Steve, I'm doing a month of August trip and I'll give it a go around the 13th or so.

This year, late May/June we traveled the Pkwy-during the week-and had to stop/wait perhaps 4 times, averaged about twenty minutes each-what was far more aggrevating was dealing with the psycho's driving the dump trucks.

I find both the Pkwy and Skyline Dr far too frustrating in a rv, if it isn't the wack jobs on bikes its the jerks in suv's, then of course you have the tree huggers on bicycles: now there is one aggressive bunch.

And to top it all off, when I pull over, and I do that alot, all you get is an attitude by the people who were behind you-just can't win.

Wow, Betsytom! If I hated my RV as much as you do and hated traveling...or at least hated everybody on the road as you appear to do...I think I'd give up RVing and stay home! :(

As always Lindah its nice to read your incredibly insightful thoughts.

I will have some very revealing pictures on sidewall construction in our Phoenix Cruiser, how is yours holding up?, and I will also post pictures showing how to hardwire a cell phone booster in a Cruiser-turns out you can pass the antenna wire through the ac connection chase, it does involve cutting off the connector but it is very easily reconnected. The benefit of course is that to use the booster, with this arrangement, all one has to do is power up the amp and connect the phone antenna cord.

Additionally, I have re-connected the Waste Master drain to the second outlet and this position makes a world of difference in reducing the sharp angle with regard to the hose going into the compartment and of course reducing the angle makes stowing the always attached hose a great deal easier AND it also allows for a longer piece of hose. SO in the interest of passing along everything I am learning I have bought another hose assembly so I can determine what the longest length can be that will still allow easy storage and management-pics up soon.

Lastly, we are in the process of changing out that horrible dinette table that you, I mean Phoenix uses. The problem is of course finding adequate attachment points due to the overall very poor construction of these coaches-I believe that the solution lies in bonding additional wood to the side wall but of course the slight curve does present an issue as does the substandard wall construction-we think we have this solved, of course these pictures will be up very soon also.

All this will be up on our smugmug website in the next few days;

Lindah forgot to add that over the weekend we passed 71,000-seventy one thousand- hits at the smug mug site, pretty neat huh?-I take it that things are not going well in Louisville....
