Any owners? Have opinion about what to pull this with?

I met a family at the Tampa Super Show that had one with 4 children and loved it.

I wish I had asked them what they pulled it with.

Dufer,

You can pull w/ any vehicle that has a GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) larger than that of the towed unit. You will need to determine how often the vehicle will be used to decide whether to go with diesel or gas. Some SUV's have the proper towing capacity, you just need to verify that of the trailor.

The number to really be concerned with in this situation is the GCWR (gross combined weight rating) which is the maximum weight for tow vehicle and trailer. GVWR is important for vehicle capacity by taking into account the weight of driver, p***enger(s), toys, and tougue weight. But when towing, the total weight of both units should also stay under the GCWR.

F350 powerstroke should do right nicely

If I were in the buying mode, I would have the "Dealer" give me a true weight of the rig. Take it across a certified scale. Then you will know what the rigs real weight is. Have your truck weight and then add them up. If the total weight is more than the CGW get a bigger truck.

We just bought an Outback 21 RS, and plan to pull it with a Tacoma. Most dealers have the loaded and unloaded weights and even a print out of various trucks with their recommended limits.

Check GCVWR.
this numbers are on the driver door post. But frist you need to know the trailer GVWR and how much you will haul in it. Load it up with water propane and all the goodies and weight it to get the GVWR.
