Hi All Campers: My sister is in the Elks Club-We are looking for any Elk Clubs through GA and into Florida that we could stop at while traveling to Florida. She has researched and received a small amount of information on club locations and what the club provides for RVers.
Any information will be great.

We are also Elks. They have campground books just for the Elks that you can buy. One for each section of the US.They will tell you where they are located,if they have camping & what hookups if any. Prices vary according to each lodge. Some just take donations. Some just offer a parking space for overnight. Lots have no RV camping at all. Lots of the Elks are closing down their lodges.Call your local Elks & ask them about the campground books. I think they are printed up some where in the east. I believe there are four of them total. We have used them quite a bit. Some of them also have dinners served once or twice a week.Good Luck!

I am an Elk and I have stayed at quite a few Elks Clubs. The ones I have stayed at have electric and water. Some of them even have cable and full hook-up. You would be surprised. There is a Elks Club in Tavenier in the Keys that has water/electric.
I have one book that includes the whole USA...."SUBORDINATE LODGE DIRECTORY w/District Assignments" 2002-2003 EDITION. This one book covers all of the USA. In it is their addresses, phone numbers, email and other info. The 4 bookset is divided in sections of the USA and if you only want one part of US you could just get the one book.
When we were in Biloxi, Mississippi we were staying at a campground there and we got talking to a few people and one man said he was an Elk Member and I told him I was a member. He said why are you paying here when you could have stayed at the lodge down the street? He was the one that told me about the directory and even had them for sale at his lodge. They do sell them at certain lodges call and ask. Now when I am traveling and need a one nite stay or if I go to an RV show I find a lodge that is nearby and call them and ask if they have sites available. You will be surprised as to how many there are and the ammendities they have. It is a way for them to make extra money plus they have great dinners and I don't have to cook LOL...Please support our ELKS Lodge and stay at one :)

If you are a member of the Escapees RV Club, check out the Elks birds of a feather group. The Elks BOF meet at various clubs and keep the lists update on all of the Elks lodges that offer RV parking. Check them out on the Escapees RV site www.escapees.com
