Paint Scrape

Incurred a small paint scrape on the side of trailer when cutting a corner too close at a service station. About 2" X 15" of red on my smooth white fiberglass(?) siding. Soap and teflon pad has removed about 50% of the density of the red paint. Any suggestions on getting it all removed with minimal damage to shine on the fiberglass? Has anyone tried softscrub?

You might possibly try a small amount of automotive rubbing compound on the scraping. I would start with a very small patch rubbing it lightly to see if this helps. Not knowing the actual thickness of the paint, if you start to see a color change, stop and seek professional help unless you are prepared to do some painting. If you suceed in removing the red rub, follow up with a good coat of wax. You might want to do the whole side so that this spot doesn't stick out. I hope that this helps.
