You need to contact a Lawyer an set up a LLC in Montana. A Montana Lawyer that specializes in LLC setups will be able to answer all your questions.

When I bought my DP, I explored registering in Montana. After talking to an attorney in Montana, I decided to go ahead and register it here in Arizona, where we live. While I know many do the LLC thing, I have also been told that Arizona has finally realized their revenue loss, and has been cracking down on out of state licenses. After spending so much on the MH, I didn't want the stress or potential problems...so I went ahead and registered it here. I was told that the LLC costs about $1500 to set up.

I'm new to the RV scene, just bought a 2007 Monaco Dynasty, and I set up a LLC in Montana. Sales tax on my MH was over $9500, and personel property tax was going to be around $8,000. The LLC only cost me $1300.00 for the LLC and my tags for the MH, this was a no brainer, and I would do it again.
I would check the laws in your home state and see if there is a way to do it. Where I live I only have to take the MH out of state once every 6 months. Just what I save on personel property tax each year will more than pay for all of my camping trips for the year.

Just read your thread & thought I would reply with some info I just learned this past week. Please go to the following site & read what is happening with out of state registrations. Will maybe help in your final decision.
