Greetings,
The rear of my 2002 Terry 29 ft. Northwest Edition travel trailer took the brunt of a 50+ mph dust storm out here on the Marine Base at Twentynine Palms, CA. The bathroom is located in that rear area and thus, it appears sand and silt may have filled up and clogged the vent.
I have water draining from the kitchen sink and the grey water drain is wide open, so it is clear something is up with the venting. The sink in the bathroom does not drain, just stands still at a visible water line as one looks down into the drain pipe.
I located the suspect vent atop the roof which is capped and well sealed where it meets the roof, but I can see how material may have gotten down the vent to the point of clogging.
What suggestions, if any, do you have for a handy person. Someone mentioned using an air compressor to blow it out, but my RV is pretty fixed in place right now and I'm not likely to haul it to a location for that. However, if faced with a high bill by an RV specialist, I would have to consider it.
Thanks for any feedback.
