I drive a Winnebago View. Just bot Ford Focus tow car. Anyone have any thoughts, advice, opinions as to the best way to go for protecting my tow car?

We use just a windshield cover! Some friends of ours use a bra and windshield cover and another has a full front cover.
There are some options for you. Look around and you will see the prices are not bad.
We have always used the cover because at times when you have driven in rain it does protect the windshield and it will be the only clean thing around.

There is a product on the market I have seen at RV shows. It is like a "Saran Wrap" for vehicles. It is what new cars are transported with to protect them for dings. It is sticky and you wrap the front of the dinghy with this material from a roll. It sticks on, but doesn't affect the paint. Just peels off when you get to where you want to use the car. I saw a price of $17 a large roll (about 3 feet wide) but didn't catch how much was on the roll.
