Anyone have any experience with Tiffin Motorhomes? Value? Pricing? Maintenance or Service issues? I am looking into upgrading to a class A and would appreciate any pros or cons on owning a Tiffin. They have a really nice unit that seems to be a good value for the price. Any info would be great. Thanks.

We did much research before purchasing our 2005 Allegro Phaeton, 40 ft with 4 slides, and couldn't be happier. We are fulltimers, and we wouldn't buy any other brand. We were at Tiffen's plant in Red Bay, AL. and what wonderful people. The are very helpful in helping you with any problem you may have as going down the road. We find that the Allegro's do maintain their values over time.

We are on our second Tiffin Motor Home and wouldn't buy any other brand. Our first tiffin was an 04 Phaeton that we kept for 3 1/2 years. We traded for an 07 bus (the last one before they switched to 08). We went to the factory and followed our bus for the minute it went into production until it left the paint shop for its trip to lazy days (would never buy another coach from them). We stayed in the Tiffin campground for free for the 10 days we watched the coach being built. Even after the warranty they will fix things for no charge if they think it was a manufacturing defect. Their labor rates are a lot cheaper than anywhere else and it is the only brand I know that will allow you to bring it back where the people who built it know what their doing. When you bring it back for warranty work the campground is always free, otherwise it's $10 a night for full hookup.
