Does anyone have an idea how much the payload can be safely increased by each of the following upgrades on a 2007 chevy silverado 3500 crew cab, long box, SRW, duramax-Allison. 1)rancho 9000 adj shocks on all 4 wheels. 2)firestone air bags on rear. 3)helwig rear anti-sway bar, truck has no rear sway bar stock. 4)wheels and tires upgraded from 3050lbs per each to 3650lb per each.

The problem with trying to upgrade the payload, is that you end up overloading wheel bearings, axles, brakes for stopping and things like that, which you can't do anything about. The mfgs. of trucks know just how much every part can carry, and install parts that will just meet the requirements.

I would not try to increase the payload on any vehicle because it could lead to very serious and dangerous situations later on.

Technical information not being available has anyone have personal experience with a GM 1 ton and a camper of any weight and length that has worked great or was scary to drive until doing shock or spring upgrades.
