Now this REALLY bothers me....
The dealer I bought my rig from said they did a pressure test on the system, so why am I smelling GAS?
Not all the time, but every now & again, I catch a whiff of it!
What can this be?.... it is not constant..... just unexpectadly allarming!!!!
Couple times a day.... (1 is too many)......

Hello, have you left your oven pilot on? Newer ones now are different.

if it's like the propane tank at our house..sometimes will do that to relieve pressure..it's normal for a regular propane.. not sure about rvs though..good luck

I would check with the dealer again on the propane leak. We never get a whiff and I would immediately have the system checked if I did. Our stove does not have a pilot light. Water heater does. Refrig. runs on propane when not generator or land elect. So, there would be several places to check for leaks. The propane tank does have an overflow valve. We filled it at flying J and he wouldn't fill it about 80% and actually there is an auto cut off fill valve that prevents filling above 80%. We have a propane leak alarm built in by the refrig. Hope some of this helps.

Thanks to everyone for writing :)
I found the leak at the fitting on one of the LP tanks.
Old hose getting brittle & cracking at the clamp.
It took forever for bubbles to form, but form they did.
Thanks Again
