In 1991 we traveled west to see the Presidents Monument in SD. Some where along the line we stopped in Ark Neb Or Iowa and spent the night in a State recreation area. Since we were fully contained we were allowed to park right on the beach near the water. I love that!!!
We now have a new Class C(new to us) and would like to find similar places. How would one go about looking for these? Search: Beach camping?

What about Federal Forests that have beaches? Anyone know?
We are headed to Maine and Vermont in Sept.

If you ever get to the state of Washington. Go to Grays Harbour State Park. It is on the coast by Westport. You can drive your rig right on the beach of the Pacific Ocean. I am not sure of overnight camping on beach. Beautiful Sunsets and Great fishing. Safe Travels.

Do not know where you live! On the west coast of Florida there is one in Ft. Myers Beach-Red Coconut CG. There is also one in the panhandle in Destin-I believe it is Waterfront CG. On the east coast of Fl there are several in the Beverly beach area. Myrtle Beach, SC has a number of CG's.

If you get a Woodalls or another directory they are pretty much all listed and rated.

Good Luck and have fun!!!!!:o
