Atwood gas hotwater heater

I have a 2000 fleetwood moterhome the hotwater heater will not shut off on its own does anyone know what the -problem is ?

Probably the built-in thermostat.

Do not use this water heater until you get it checked out!!!!! It could be dangerous!!!!
