hello all,
anyone been to Nashville Tn, lately?
thinking of taking a short trip soon.
found a few good campgrounds but was wondering
about the town? What to see and do and is it safe to
walk around at night?
Thanks for any input......

was in Nashville last weekend and was not afraid to walk around downtown. There are lots of things to do---sports events, festivals, concerts, etc. The campgrounds near Opry Mills are all decent and Ory Mills can keep a shopper happy for days. I understand dinner on the General Jackson is awesome.

We stayed in Nashville recently and were on a nice campground - nashville Country RV park. Friendly and the town is ok although not quite as we expected. Grand Ole Opry was wonderful as is the Irish pub in The Opryland Hotel - they have live music which is good an it is a nice atmosphere.

Two Rivers Campground. Will stay there again. Close to the Grand Ole Opry and the Opry Mills Outlet Mall that I could spend days. They were very helpful and extremely friendly. Full hook ups and pull through and back in alike. A couple tour companies pick up right at the office and there is lots to see and I would recommend doing it on a tour bus. I was able to buy my Grand Ole Opry tickets on the phone from the park office.
They know what they are doing.
There are two RV supply and repair places right close by.
Google Two Rivers Campground in Nashville. You won't be sorry.
