Finally Fishing Weather

I'm so excited! It is finally getting to be fishing weather around here. It's getting warmer and I can't wait to go fishing! Hopefully I can get away this week and go. When I finally do I'll post some pictures on my profile.

The only fishing here right now is through 2 ft of ice but I still try. Freezer still has panfish and salmon. Should be able to get out the long rods in April. Will try the Florida gulf at end of March.

Wow. It's not even that cold here. I'm in the Florida Panhandle. I only fish freshwater though.

Not good news but it will get better sooner that here. I am going to St. George Island State Park. Do you have any info on the area. Any fresh water spots and things to see & do?

I don't know much about there. That's a few hours east of where I am. I do know that they have a few miles of beach over there though.

Fishing has been really bad this winter. Everyone you talk to is saying the same thing....Where are the fish?? I have never seen it this bad.

A few yeard ago I went bonefishing in the Keys. Caught a ray and a shark, no bonefish.

Anyone who has experience shore fishing off St George Island FL please provide ideas. I will be there 3/24 to 3/31/07. Thanks.

will be going to the piers in Oscoda soon for steelhead. I believe it is the most productive time to fish for them. Also the cuts and rivers to saginaw bay and lake huron will open up and the perch will be running. The best time of the year to take the kids fishing. Hit them right and you will be too busy to fish baiting hooks and taking of fish lol. Also the suckers will be running soon in Omer tons of fun. Gotta love spring!!!
