Let us know about your coach. My wife and I have been fultiming in our 2000 scenic cruiser for 5 years on March 8th. It has been very good to us as we have not had any real house problems. I do believe and try to maintain the systems, finish and roof. When I get the time I will try to upload a photo. Good luck to all and enjoy the road.

Linda and Bob, nice to meet you. It is a nice way to get away and sleep in your own bed. We loved the lifestyle so much we planned and went fulltime five years ago and have not regretted it once.

Recently, we traded our 5th wheel for a 2006 Georgetown XL with three sldes, we have been very happy with the unit so far. We have plenty of living space with two slides in the main area and one in the bedrooom. We could use more closet but then, that would be only an invitation to keep more stuff. We are fulltimers so the mt is our "home" . We find it so much easier to pick up for a weekend and leave our workamper job to expore other areas, a push of a button and it is level.

We started fulltiming in a 2005 38' Carriage Carrilite 5er (4 slides) in May of 2005. Loved that 5er. One day last September, we went truck "browsing" and ended up an RV dealership "browsing" motorhomes. We ended up buying a 2006 Winnebago Adventurer 38T. It "only" has 2 slides, but they are each over 17 feet. LOL Took some getting use to, but now love it as well.
Since we are not yet retired, we do tend to spend a bit of time in one location, and the MH is easier to just up and go for long weekends.

2002 Country Coach Intrigue here. Purchased it last summer after camping in a TT for nearly 20 years. Tow trailer w/golf cart and Miata. Retired but working part time to pay for MH. Hopefully within 4 years will be snowbirders. Winter in FL, summer here in NC.

We have had 11 units over 35 years. Now have 2002 Winni Adventurer 35U.
We love this floor plan since it has a desk and I have a consulting practice and it works fine for us when we are on the road (8 months a year).
This has been our best coach and first Winnebago product
Enjoy!!!

We're on our second MH - first was a class C Minnie. Now we're in an Itasca Sunrise 33V and love it. Most problems cosmetic. We're not full timers, but are retired and travel quite frequently.

I'm on my second class A coach. The current unit is a 2000 Safari Zanzibar DP and we love it. My wife has an Olde English Sheepdog (Hoover) and I have a Great Dane, that both travel when we do. Had to go to the DP so Barney the 193# Dane had room to stretch out! I live in Oregon, and since we both still work, we get out as much as possible, but it's never enough. I did some PM today since the weather was nice, and maybe we can get over to the coast in the next weekend or so after I go get a fresh weigh in on the coach. Stan

Mine is a 2004 National Sea Breeze, 32-footer with two slides. We bought it new and have had pretty much no problems with it. We love the floorplan. the way it's set up, we can close off the part from the kitchen on back totally so that when you step out of the shower, you're not exposed to the world. Lots of privacy. The one thing I don't like, or I should say I wish I had, would be when the outside storage comes out with the slides, like on the Bounder. I hate climbing back under the slides to get something I forgot. Otherwise, pretty much love it.
PS: Hello, dylansmom. I recognize the name from another forum.

We are actually on our second MH. The first was a 1966 Allegro Bay just to see if we were going to like it. We have since upgraded to a 2006 Damon Challenger (37'). We love it even though we are not full timers. We are still young and required to work every day. However, we are taking a 3 week trip up to Pennsylvania in June (we live in Texas), not to mention our weekend excursions.

Just bought a new 4 slide Itasca. Love it so far but have only taken one trip to TN from Mich. Hope to travel quite a bit this summer but are new to the RV lifestyle and since we have 3 dogs--it may pose a challenge. Traded in a 2003 Georgie Boy Cruisemaster--lots of problems even though it only had $1500 miles when we bought it a yr. ago. Happy RVing everyone.

Our first motor home was a 1981 Foretravel. We liked the coach, but with it being that old, it cost more than if we spent the money on a newer one.
Last July we got an 01 Itasca Suncruiser 32V with a lioving room slide. It's a great improvement!

We also own a CC, an Allure (2000), have a home in NC near Boone and still living and working in Miami. Soon to be retired and moving to central FL.

We're new to the Class A family. We traded a 2006 Dutchmen Express Class C for a 2004 Coachmen Mirada with one slide. The unit is the largest RV we have ever owned. It's 33' and has most of the toys you would expect with a Class A. We do not have a satellite dish. Unfortunately we haven't had the opportunity to use it yet because of the death of my sister. But very soon we plan on taking a short, shakedown trip. Anyone else out there with a Coachmen?

I am on my 5 rig. Started fulltiming with my husband 9 years ago in a 24' tow behind, then 2 years later got a 30' with a slide. 2 years later went to a Class A used Allegro 32' no slides, after he passed away and I went thru 2 transmissions in 37 days, I got a 29' brand new Itasca Sunova with 2 slides and took it to Alaska. 15 months ago I met a wonderful man who had a 5th wheel. We traveled in his 5er last summer and put mine in storage. On New Years Eve we traded both in for a 35' Discovery with opposing slides in the living area and a bedroom slide. We love it but it sure was fun trying to stuff 58' (his rig was 29' too) of rv stuff into 35'. So many yard sales we made our first payment from the profit. Hope it's our last rig and it lasts the rest of our long lives.

Just bought my first RV, a 2007 Monaco Dynasty 42 ft Diamond IV. Coach is loaded with almost every option you can get. So far my girlfriend and I have enjoyed it (only had it for 1 month). I'm looking forward to this summer to really getting a chance to use it on some long weekend trips and maybe one cross country trip. Would also like to attend some RV rallies and shows to be able to meet fellow RVers.

Just bought 2001 Safari DP (350 Cummings) and we love it, We really love the hot water and heating system as it is the Hydro-hot system as it runs on either diesel fuel or electric. Also has the automatic awning feature as it retracts when the wind speed reaches 20 mph. Lots of closet and basement space as we are fulltimers and need that. Hope all have safe and uneventiful travers

We joined Escapees, and use their mail service. We also use that address as our residence/voting/etc address. Texas works great for us.

We have a 2005 Coachmen Cross Country SE which we have lived in for the last year making only short trips. We are now retired and leaving VA Fri to head to Seattle WA for the rest of the summer and then make our way back to VA by November. We love our motor home and have not had any trouble.

We just brought a 1998 38' DP Dutch Star with ONLY 24000 miles. Will be using it for the first trip this coming week-end, from Jax, Fl. to West Palm Beach Fl. The unit has everthing we wanted plus more, and the price was a steel.
We have looked at class A's for the last 5 years, and over all was not impressed with the newer ones, and this one fit the bill.
We've camped for the last 28 years, first in tents, then truck camper shells then TT's to this....
will post pic as time goes on..

Recently we traded in our 5th wheels for a 1997 Vogue Coach 40 ft. It does not have slides but has all the qualities that we wanted. We are planning to do more traveling, sight-seeing, exploring on the road since we both are retired. We have been snowbirds for a few years, winter in CA or Arizona, summer we will be boating in Puget Sound WA. Not bad to be retired.
