Has anyone ever heard of registering your new/used RV in another state that doesn't charge sales tax? Has anyone out there actually done it successfully? Is it legal? What states do this?

It can be done but, be sure to do your homework as it can lead to other problems. We are workampers from Pa. and bought our MH in Pa. but, at the same time we were legel residents of SD and registered our MH in SD. We saved 1/2 of the tax. We are now traveling the country and our address is SD. We have no ties other than family in Pa. There is a lot of information available to you on the internet.
