We purchased the 28' Lexington this summer from a dealer in Mn where we live. We just returned from a trip to the gulf coast.
We really like the Lexington -- handles like a van and had no trouble getting around. We got about 9 mpg. Easy to set up; handled well in wind, etc.
Downsides: small bedroom; not much storage (it was enough for us -- if we need more we'll get a cargo carrier for the receiver hitch).
The entertainment system was a little complicated (no owners manual with the flat screen tv), but once we got it figured out it worked really good with campground cable tv or with air. We have not set up the satelite sytem yet.
We get a lot of looks and compliments.
I think it's great for traveling and camping -- though it would be too small to live in for any extended period of time.
Hope this helps. Bob Gustafson.

We own a 28ft 2006-- bought in new--had lots of problems-- but Forest River warranty is excellent.
All the problems fixed.
Over all we love the Lexington--drives like a dream--and looks beautiful --we also gets lots of compliments--We have adjusted to the small storage areas. jbuffett
