Question we want to know ...

How long is the BEST LENGTH for a 5th wheel... we are looking to buy one that we will not run into ANY trouble with LENGTH RESTRICTIONS...

This time we want to make sure before we buy one...

please let us know what ever you know on park/campground length restrictions that you have run into....

Have you seen the size of some 5r's, they are huge. I wouldn't worry about restriction, I would worry about the truck to pull it.

We've been fulltiming since 1997 and very rarely have we run into length restrictions. We have a 38' triple slide triple axle Carriage.
Being fulltime with this as our only home, we wanted length & width. We know others who fulltime in 34' and above and are completely happy.
It really depends on what you want to live in fulltime. Do you spend most of your time indoors, set up a table and chairs and spend a lot of time outside at your campsite?
Are you looking to go into campgrounds, RV parks or are you more into state and national parks. The last 2 is probably where you would run into length restrictions.
Do you already have a truck that you want to keep? If so, that will help you determine what length and weight rig you will purchase.
In the end, it really depends on what you want. Keep us posted on your progress. Hugs, Di
