Dr. Linda MundorffMPH,MSN,ND,RN,CNC,CTN
Dr. Mundorff has worked in health care for over twenty-five years as a registered nurse, health educator, associate professor, and a naturopathic doctor. She holds several degrees in health education, public health, nursing, and naturopathy. She is a certified nutritional consultant and a board certified traditional naturopath.
She has been very active in the community as the past medical director for the 9-HealthFair at Red Rocks Community College; founder and past President of the Northwest Community Center; and she has developed curriculum in both anatomy and physiology and medical terminology for the layperson. She is the past-Colorado patient resource advocate for the Cleft Palate Association. She has been a member of several local committees such as: the Youth Alliance Educational Program at Exempla Lutheran Hospital, and the Colorado Workforce Task Program for Dislocated Workers.
She is a columnist for the Denver Nursing Star and the Oklahoma Nursing Times and the author (as Linda Rener) of two books: Medical Terminology: A Student Workbook and Memories of My Sister: Dealing with Sudden Death. Her latest book, Take Control: A Guide to Holistic Living, is an innovative health guide, which helps the reader learn how to regain control of their health by discovering the practical effectiveness of combining alternative and modern medicine. Passionate about self-advocacy and health reform, she is currently in her second year of law studies. She is an outstanding speaker and has aroused audiences on topics such as: The mindless patient; Dying to know your patient rights; Alternative and modern medicine: What you need to know to survive!
She resides in Colorado with her husband and children.
